Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting
Because Auxilium is a social cooperative, it operates according to an economic framework that aims to create added value within the local community, increase social capital and promote economic development. This, in turn, encourages active local community involvement in decision-making processes, thus also boosting the economy.
Since 2005 Auxilium has published a yearly corporate social responsibility (CSR) report to inform and involve its stakeholders, with whom it collaborates on a daily basis. As with any organisation operating within a complex social and economic context, Auxilium’s CSR reports can be a useful tool to understand and reflect on Auxilium’s role in society, in both structural and, most importantly, moral terms. Besides, our CSR report also serves as proof of the mission we are pursuing within local communities, namely, that we are a socially responsible cooperative that seeks to give the wealth generated back to local communities.
